My focus will be on Chapter 3: Telling Powerful Visual Stories
After reviewing the chapter, I came up with some exciting prospects for my kindergarten children. One of them is using video to record the children retelling a story. We retell many stories throughout the year, such as The Big Pumpkin, The Gingerbread Baby, and The Mitten. It would be fun to try to do some digital storytelling around these books. By using Windows Movie Maker, Garage Band, and perhaps scanning in images from the book, it would be an exciting undertaking to try and put together a "movie" with the children's voices narrating the story and then posting it on my new website!
